Before each vehicle is hired out we undertake a 21 point safety checklist covering Tyre tread wear, Tyre pressure, Brakes, Oil level, Water level; and the operation of Safetybelts, Lights, Battery, Door handles and Locks, etc. |
Regular rental vehicle servicing and maintenance
We also ensure all our vehicles undertake an independent 6 month certificate of fitness check from a government certified testing station. All scheduled oil and engine maintenance is undertaken on or before the required service kilometers are reached. Typically our vehicles do not exceed 100,000 KM and never exceed 150,000 KM before we remove them from our hire fleet. (higher mileage backpacker vehicles may be available on request) |
Pre-hire rental car damage check
When you hire a car, we inspect the vehicle together before you take it away. Any damage will be marked on a check sheet which you will sign. When you return, there is no dispute regarding the condition of the vehicle therefore no unexpected charges. |
